Hi, my name’s Sam Taggart, and we’re here in Austin, Texas. Just about to start our recruiting summit. Now, this is a three day experience on not just learning the content of how to recruit, doing events, online, recruiting, whether that’s public encounters, head hunting, you going out and networking your network. This is an experience where we actually do the work together. These hundred attendees came together from all sorts of industries, whether that’s solar, roofing, pest control, alarms, vacuums. We have all sorts of industries all coming together, not to recruit each other, but to learn how to go recruit in the masses. Last year, we hosted an event and we had people recruit 30 people within 30 days after attending our event. This time our goal, here in Austin, Texas, is to recruit over 200 people by 30 days after this event. We’re actually going to be hosting an event. We’re going to be doing some crazy messaging on Instagram and Facebook and teaching everyone how to use social media to create what we call the law of attraction. So, stay tuned, watch this. We’re going to be showing you some awesome content from this summit. Here we go.

Outward Expression of Your Inward Commitment

As we go through this content, a lot of it is an outward reflection of your inward expectation. Your inward turmoil, your recruiting ability has a lot to do with how you’re living inside. The second one is your tribe. So, I want you to now think for a second. I’m gonna give you a second to think. If you said we’ve all heard the quote, you are the five people you surround yourself with. Right? So, now that the second thing on top of that would be are you actively the low man on the totem pole in the tribes that you are aspiring to be in? Or, are you actively pulling those that are all trying to aspire to be with you? Does that make sense? There are certain people, if I go to bill gates and I’m like, I want to hang out with bill gates, or I want to hang out with Elon Musk. Is he gonna be like, oh, I want to hang out with Sam Taggart? Maybe once he knows me, for sure. But, the problem is Elon is saying, who am I trying to aspire to hang with? Then there’s a tale that’s saying, who do I want to aspire to be with? Like, who’s trying to aspire to be with me and how do I protect them?

Build Trust

We know how important trust is when we’re trying to build value in an opportunity. Think about how easy it is to make a sale when trust is really, really high. Think about the opposite. If you’re with a prospect where it’s truly a no brainer for them to sign up, but there’s zero trust. How hard is it to make that sale? It’s near impossible because they’re really not even listening to you or if they are they’re skeptical, but when there’s high trust, it makes it so easy to build value in the opportunity. This same exact concept goes for recruiting. If you do not have trust, no matter how great of an opportunity, no matter how much of a no brainer it would be for them to be a rep, it will not happen. Why would you sign up for a commission only job when you do not trust the person wanting you to join the company?

Give The Invitation

I promise you there’s somebody out there waiting in your circle of influence that would literally be waiting and enthusiastic and literally just begging for a new change in life. Yet, they have never had the invitation passed to them. Can we all commit, everyone in this room? So if we have a hundred, we’re gonna make 2,400 contacts by one end of launch. Can we all commit to that? Say yes. Can you see why? I said I’m committed to recruiting 200 and something people by the end of this week. Yes, I think we can do this. I want you to write down some names. The first 24 names of people you can contact. Once you’ve written all the names, then start contacting. Don’t contact them until you have written all 24. After you contact these 24, do this process again and again. Recruiting never ends. Just because you have asked once, don’t forget to follow up. Some of my best recruits were ones I had to ask over and over. Never stop giving out invitations and never stop growing your list of those to send your invitation to.

Plan And Use Your Time Effectively

How to plan and use your time effectively. This is going to go right into how to systemize your recruiting efforts. I need you guys to have a plan or something. If you want to fall along here, as you roll into the fall season, you should have this mapped out. What are your production goals for when selling starts? Whatever your off time is, or whatever that looks like for you, make sure you have a plan so you do not fall off the recruiting train. Plan out time for you to continue looking for recruits in the off season. Having your time panned out in effect way ensures that you do not forget to work. Door to door selling is all about discipline in every brach of the industry. You need to ask yourself what you want to achieve and figure out how to make a plan to have that happen. If you do not plan, it will not happen. You can think about it all you want, wish for it, make a dream board, whatever. Do all of that all you want, but planning is where you see your success.

Hopefully these were helpful for you to understand a little more about recruiting. If you really want to be a master at recruiting, then get yourself to a Recruiting Summit. It is a 3 day training adventure. We go over so much more than covered in this short video. We have a 70 page recruiting playbook waiting for you.
