It’s time to actually get your business in order. Put your systems in place and spend some time working on the business instead of being in the hectic chaos. For some of you guys, this might be the only time in life you get to slow down and put your training systems together, put your onboarding systems together, put your budgeting together, and find out your profit and loss. There are so many businesses that we consult that I’m like, you have no idea what you are doing. You’re just you’re making money by happenstance. Your business is not intentionally making money. If that makes sense. You’re making money because you just happen to be selling, but when it comes to downturn or recession and you have to start actually paying attention to dollars and cents and systems and processes and getting dialed, you are not cutting it. This is one of the biggest opportunities
so, for example, one of the opportunities it is getting your people trained better.
They’re sitting at home they can start watching videos and you can start doing Zoom training, Zoom meetings, etc. And so, you know, what we do is we go to companies, we come out we film, we edit, we customize your own videos to start actually like building out your own training system. So this is why we’ve had more business than ever. Because, people are saying, why not sharpen the saw so when the sun comes back out we have phenomenal sales training and we have phenomenal sales guys that are all well ready to go? Storm season’s upon us and it’s like, why not have our people ready and trained? So, I would say hosting virtual training hosting Zoom meetings like this regularly with your sales guys. You want to be in constant touch with your salespeople so that they feel like you’re sitting there still giving value even though they’re not showing up to the office every day. So the second thing I’m going to go over is another product we offer it’s called Vanilla. So, I’m logged into a roofing company to show you how it works. This messaging tool has been amazing. I’m not trying to sell anybody on anything. I’m just saying this is where we adapt as businesses and we built this for a time like today. So, what this is, is it’s a texting automation platform. This is a fast way to communicate with your entire database. So, how do you leverage the contacts and information that you guys already have? So, take this company, Proclaim, they are a client of ours in Dallas. They have 4,114 leads. That doesn’t mean they’ve sold that many roofs. That doesn’t mean they’ve necessarily done that many roofs, but what they’ve done, is they’ve uploaded a csv. They’ve created basically tags and cities. So, they said okay, everybody in Garland and Benbrook and Fresno, and Irving is going to receive a message. So, I can go search by Irving. I can go search and it pulls up all my Irving customers and then what I do is I send them a text campaign. So, I can go select a campaign. Meaning, two days after the build, after a storm, or a holiday text, a recruitment text, a hail season text, I have these all premade and you can customize them. These are text templates that I can send from certain area code-specific phone numbers. I can mass text to all my people and it says things like “Hey, Tom.” You probably are quarantined down right now, so what if you could text 4,000 people in a matter of five seconds? What would that do for your business? To be able to send a text to thousands of contacts with a message that says “Hey, Vincent” “Hey, Grant” “Hey, Tom” or “Hey, John” and it’s an individualized text message that shows up on their phone and then you could say “Hey, I know we’ve talked in the past. I wanted to revisit that conversation to see if I could come re-inspect a roof.” Your message could literally say anything. You could follow up by asking about meeting virtually and setting up a time to go over how we can help you get your roof or you know, your roof redone. Something like that and then you simply ask them if they would be interested or would you be down to set up a meeting or something like that. So you set up a custom template and then it has an ai response that responds for you. If they say yea, ai will send a message saying, great, click the link to schedule a time. If they say no, it says okay, cool, keep us in the loop we’re always here to help you. But, in a matter of seconds, I can set up 500 appointments. Based on the conversion rate of my messaging, I could get my guys busy just by taking the data that is already in my database and properly utilizing it. But, for me to go call 4,000 people right now, that’s a lot of phone calls and I probably don’t have the bandwidth to do that on my own. But, within a matter of two seconds, I could send them all a text and see how they respond. That simplifies everything along with enhancing your time and profit margin.
