Hey, guys, welcome back to the door to door podcast. Today I have two very special guests, we really wanted to dive in really deep with girls in the door to door industry because as crazy as it seems, itโs actually very rare. And if youโre new to the industry, you might not know this, but just it really hit me when I went to door to door con this year. And out of every single person in the room, I would say maybe 2% were women. So Iโm super proud to be in the space and to me, other ladies in it. And these girls are absolutely slaying it like theyโre in solar. And they are throwing down deals and all the guys are getting jealous. And all they got to do was representing like not only just for women in the space, but for door to door salesmen in the space. So I would love to introduce DOM and Ari, yourselves.
01:36
Hey, so my name is Dominic resto. Iโm with source energy. Iโve been with them for a couple months. And Iโve been doing solar for about two years now. My
01:47
name is Adrienne gaisano. Our our for sure. Also with source energy, yep, and what sources it started. But Iโve been doing solar indoor outdoor for about a year now. So I love it.
Mia OโNeill 01:59
So I know that weโve talked a little bit about your stories and everything, but kind of given background of how you got into solar.
02:07
Okay. So I was bartending for about four years now. And I just had a lot of people tell me, you know, youโre super personable, you really should just get into sales, you know, you shouldnโt you should be doing way more than this. And Iโm thankful for it because they saw something in me that I never did. So one day I just went on indeed, and I typed in sales. And next thing you know, a solar company popped up, and I read the description. So the income was pretty good. And I was like, Okay, well, this sounds really different. But it was really random. And I ended up applying for the job A week later and got the job and then next month I was breaking records. No, yeah, so it was it was so random how it happened but super thankful for Shay. Yeah, so
Mia OโNeill 02:52
everyone out there recruiting which is everyone if youโre in door to door, amazing, like most Oh, the top grabs and like the really key players in the field like they donโt come from indeed. But look at that. For sure. Oh my gosh, like your ideal solar salesman, like outgoing, friendly, personable from a deep so how to take notes people. Alright, and what about you,
03:18
we as far as solar goes, kind of kind of a funny story as to how I got involved in it. I was in college, and then the whole COVID thing happened. So me and my boyfriend, we decided to move over to Colorado. Heโs been in Georgia, specifically solar for a couple of years now. And you know, he was doing his thing. And I was just kind of at home not really knowing what to do because I also had to do zoom classes. And it really wasnโt my vibe. And he said like, Hey, babe, like just come and try it out. Like come shadow me for like a week or two. See what you like about us? We donโt remember. Okay, cool, nothing to lose. I went and shadowed him for a week. And then I started doing it on my own. And the first two weeks that i did it i got nine sales and the first full month I got 30. And I was like damn, like,
04:01
This is fun. Like this is
04:03
super cool. So yeah, no, no, Iโm loving it. Itโs so fun when youโre doing really well. Yeah, yeah. No, it was like super random too. Out of the blue. I was like, Yeah, sure. Let me just try it out. And I ended up loving and now Iโm here. Thatโs amazing. If I can interject, sorry, but sheโs currently outselling her boyfriend. He goes to the side and
Mia OโNeill 04:34
and for anyone else who got into door to door during COVID say I was when I got in as well. I was like well, the world stopped spinning so I might as well make money and what better way to do it than door to door. So great. I love that. Yeah. So tell me some like how has it been to be a woman in door to door and that was kind of an interesting world and some people Have some fear about it too. Maybe thereโs some danger involved because youโre alone in the neighborhood. Or like, itโs hard because of the rejection, all these things that people say with females in the dormitory space, but whatโs been your experience with it?
05:13
So the So a quick little story, when I started in New Jersey for the first solar company, my first day, I walked into the office, and I was the only female in there. And I was very confused. Because Iโm thinking where the hell are the other woman? I was just like, Okay, this is different, you know? And then it was intimidating. At first, it was like, Okay, well, how am I going to do compared to these guys. But then I started getting out there and really started throwing down and instead of looking at it as fear, that fueled me, the fact that these guys were throwing down, but now here, I am, the only female on the office, and Iโm outselling every single one of them. So for me, instead of looking at a sphere, I just use that to drive me and want to do even better, because then you have the guys who talk crap, you know, definitely let their egos get in the way. And it just hyped me up. Because it just makes you feel more accomplished as a as a woman, the thing that I can say that I feel like we struggle with and from personal experience, weโre emotional creatures, you know. So we do have emotional things that are constantly going on and on a daily basis that men canโt understand. And thatโs why I feel like when we actually find success in the industry, I feel more superior about it, because they donโt know what weโre going through and you mentally emotionally and the fact that weโre able to overcome that and still sell lights out. Itโs definitely itโs empowering. So I donโt look at, you know, men or female differently in the industry anymore. Because I see women like Amy Spencer, her I see a lot of females dominating now. And I really wish more women would come out because we really, I feel like we have a competitive edge over we thereโs a trust factor when a difference between a woman knocking on your door and a man knocking on your door, thereโs so much more receptive. And yet we have to be a little bit more convicted, because they may not take us seriously. But having that trust for them to come to the doors. Thatโs all we need. And as soon as we get in the doors, itโs lights out from there. Yeah. So I think the biggest thing I struggle with is maintaining those emotions and, and being able to just stay focused on the task at hand.
Mia OโNeill 07:25
I love that. Thatโs great advice. Yeah, absolutely. What about you?
07:29
Well, as far as being a woman and the door to door industry, obviously, you know, you experience a lot of things that probably some guys donโt experience and especially like, Iโll come home and Iโll tell like my boyfriend a couple stories Heโs like, or if Iโm not gonna like my period, or something like that. He just doesnโt understand he does already. Heโs like, Oh, just get over, like, hold it. And Iโm like, how do you canโt hold it? And so obviously, like it has, its, its pros and cons. But overall, like, I feel like women should be so much more involved in this industry. Like, I feel overall, itโs a pretty like, kept secret. Itโs like a definitely like a hidden treasure. And again, like how Dom said like, when I first joined source, I was the only female in the office the non one girl came. And then you know, she found a like another opportunity. But little by little like Iโve been seeing more females getting involved in the door door industry. And I noticed that their success, itโs much more like itโs more grand than the success that like guys typically tend to have because I had this one lady I knocked on her door and sheโs like, wow, like youโre so different from every other door to door salesman. Like I donโt feel like youโre selling me or anything like youโre super personable. I was very comfortable with you Just because youโre like very sweet girl and all that. So definitely, I feel like 100% we do have a competitive edge. And we have a ton of like pros that we could take for us an advantage for us. So itโs more females to join. Itโs definitely super fun you make Good morning, my good friends. Yeah.
08:57
Nice building a network of badass chicks. Yeah, together. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, no, itโs a itโs a beautiful thing. Because you donโt have that. But just what weโve what weโve created ourselves going out together and knocking doesnโt even feel like work, weโre having a great time. Plus, weโre making a boatload of cash flow, as well. So I encourage more women to really step up and not and not be intimidated by the fact that itโs a male dominated field. Because I guarantee you give it a couple years, weโll be running the show.
Mia OโNeill 09:34
And actually think that the emotional aspect can actually play as a benefit as well. 100% is youโre able to really connect with your customer and relate to them and like you were talking about last night is like building the conviction, which is really showing them that this is important, like solar is so much better for the planets cleaner energy, and weโre just able to really build up that emotion and connect to people, which is a major benefit. It was so nurturing. So
10:01
yeah, we can project our maternal sides into our, our presentation that they really resignate with it, especially when thereโs so much conviction behind.
10:15
Not just like the maternal aspect, but Iโve had a ton of people being like, wow, you remind me of my niece, you remind me of my granddaughter. Yeah, like all these things. And like, it just kind of makes them trust me a lot more and makes them like me, like almost immediately. Iโm just like, hey, like, definitely, it definitely is like a huge pro for women.
Mia OโNeill 10:36
Yeah. And if weโre able to channel that energy, because we have so much emotional lifeforce energy, weโre able to channel that into the right direction, which is sales or the doors are in, like really get behind it too, with solar or whatever it is pest control, roofing, just get passionate about it. Weโre unstoppable. Oh, yeah.
10:58
You just have to, you really just have to, if you have that conviction, and you have that passion, Iโm telling you, it really does make a difference. What weโve been doing sheโs, we call it the Ying and Yang. So sheโs definitely the the calm before the storm.
Mia OโNeill 11:16
Under this, this is important. This is how theyโve set it up to have a lot of success.
11:22
So Ari is what we call our setter. So she and I follow up right behind her. And with her, we knock together and we really feed off each otherโs energy, just to make it a fun, productive day. So she goes in, so do the site, and sheโs very calm. Sheโs very nurturing tourism, sheโs very caring. And Iโm right there. So they know Iโm not a stranger coming back. They know whoโs coming back to their door. And theyโre expecting this calm star, this this calm, relaxed presentation, but then I come in and smack them with this conviction in this that they werenโt anticipating. And once we started implementing this, Iโm at 100% close ratio right now. Amazing. Yeah. So I mean, itโs so cool. Yeah, everyone, I sit down in front of big clothes, and a lot of it has to do with theyโre always complimenting ra as well. Theyโre always saying that they would have never sat down and talk with me. Unless youโre the kind, gentle person that she was. Then you have the aggression here. Nurses union gang, thereโs a healthy balance there. Yeah. Wow.
Mia OโNeill 12:29
And how many you close? 18 appointments last two weeks? Was it? We checked? It was 2020. Accounts last two weeks? Yeah. That is so good. Oh, yeah. Like that is? I mean, we interview a lot of people. And thatโs up there for sure. Yeah. Itโs
12:46
been really lucrative for us. Weโve just so we just spend and what we noticed a difference is that weโre having fun.
12:53
Oh, yeah. Itโs like literally girl talk all the time. Like, it doesnโt even feel like work. Like, in between doors. Weโre just like talking about like, our days how weโre feeling like, itโs just like, super chill. And then we go to home Where? Oh, yeah, you want to do this cool. Center up. Yeah, Tomโs gonna be the one stopping by and then just like, it flows so smooth, right?
Mia OโNeill 13:10
So high, because youโre just like, youโre just your spirits are high. And one of the toughest things on the doors is when you start to kind of get in a slump. And maybe youโre not having as much luck or a lot of renters or something like yeah, and youโre just like, Oh, this sucks. And like, I donโt want hit that door and like, Oh, this is gonna be another person. But if every door youโre just like, hyped up, and yeah, weโre gonna do this. Howโs it going? Itโs just like, that transfer of energy is so palpable, oh,
13:38
even when we get the Karen Yeah, weโd like laugh at all. laughing and itโs like, okay, weโre still chilling, having a great time, you know, so. And that was, I think the biggest thing why this really happened because I struggle with knocking by myself. Not that I get in my head, but it gets lonely out there. Especially when youโre having a hard day or renters and, you know, a bunch of objections. And youโre by yourself. And you know, maybe youโre just having a bad mental day, itโs really easy to just say, Okay, Iโm done for the day. Whereas if youโre with somebody else, and thereโs just so much pushing you Yeah, youโre just pushing each other really to, to just do better and just get over it and say, some will, some wonโt. So, yeah, so itโs just we constantly feed each other. And itโs just itโs so uplifting, you know, especially because weโre both women in the field too. So itโs super empowering for sure.
Mia OโNeill 14:28
That is so cool. Because I donโt know a lot of people that actually knock together, I usually sometimes I hear of it if they are having a bad day, and theyโre like, Hey, we just come knock with me for a couple hours, typically. And Iโve never seen it where youโre actually every single day.
14:41
implemented hours. Yeah. So itโs been working like amazingly, it works. Because I know
Mia OโNeill 14:47
for me, I was having some difficulty when I was knocking out in San Diego, because I was setting a lot of appointments. But I didnโt have closers right there to close them. Yeah. So I actually didnโt have enough closers, there to close. All my sets that were set. Yeah. So it was a difficulty because by the end The end of the week, I was only doing a blitz. And by the end of the week, I was like, Can you just stay with me? And then youโre like, I need you right there. Ready? Yeah. I know I can set enough appointments to where your whole day would be busy. Knocking together and then youโre like, just teeing them up right there. I could, I could see it being super beneficial. Yeah,
15:22
especially like, because DOM is with me. Iโm like, Hey, man, like, itโs not a stranger gonna be coming in. Itโs gonna be Dominique. Like one. One works better today or later through, like, later today. Iโm like, cool.
15:37
Today or later today? Yeah.
Mia OโNeill 15:45
So what would you say? I donโt know. Like, what else you want to share with women in the industry? Are people looking into bring women or people looking to recruit women? Um, well, I
15:55
would say at least, like, from our most recent personal experience, Iโd say like, finding like, just having the confidence to get out there as a woman, like, Iโm gonna tell you though, like, itโs not gonna be easy, especially in a male dominated place, because guys are gonna, and guys in their ego, theyโre kinda like, if youโre doing better than them, theyโre not gonna like, especially if youโre like, 123 only women in the office, and you guys are killing it. Like, the men are not gonna like that, like theyโre gonna get sensitive. Like, the whole toxic masculinity is gonna be an issue, but like, girl, youโre crushing and like, do your thing. Like, yeah, absolutely. And like, Iโve been telling so many of my friends who went to an all girls high school, so I know, Oh, wow. Yeah, I know. And I grew up with. Like, all girls high school, I only grew up with my mom and my sister. So Iโve always went around, like, female empowerment. Like, thatโs basically been like, the concept of my entire life is female power. And like, you donโt need a guy to do this. You donโt need a guy to support you and all that. So thatโs how I grew up. Thatโs basically my mentality. So being out on the field, especially with such a strong, independent woman like Dominique definitely pushes me and like, I want to be better. Like I see her as a role model too. So it just kind of works out really well. Like, yeah, like, like, itโs good. If you girl, like, just come on, like, do it. And donโt be afraid.
Mia OโNeill 17:13
I love that. I love that so much. Thatโs an interesting story to a lot of women. But it is kind of hard. But for me, Iโve always been kind of more of a guys, girl. I get along really well with guys, and actually saw really beautiful culture. When I was knocking on my first team. It was I was the only girl and I felt like by the end, I was so tight with all the guys and I have so much respect from them. Yeah. And I felt almost like the mother bird or like, we would be where they were just like, I was what me standing in my divine feminine allowed them to rise up there. And really, like serve me and the team as a family and as a unit instead of so much competition. Yeah, like really support them and lift them up or nurturing. Yeah, thatโs a beautiful dynamic to watch unfold. Itโs just a really beautiful demonstration of divinity. And yeah, this is great. And I had so much fun. Youโre like, still some of my best friends
18:06
become like a bro at the end of the day? Yeah, ya know, for sure. What about you, um, the biggest thing I can say about women being in the industry is mindset. When I started in solar, that was the hardest thing for me, you know, I, I threw down for a month or two and started having all these emotional feelings. Just being a typical woman and that aspect and really allowing it to affect my production. So my thought was, am I gonna have this victims mentality? You know, I have all these emotions, I canโt help. Itโs just how my body is, Iโm gonna, am I going to allow it to affect work? Or am I going to change my story? Am I going to use that? and allow it to hold me back? Or am I going to allow it to push me forward and I decided to allow it to push me forward. I recognize now when Iโm going through those emotions, and Iโm able to acknowledge them and tell myself, thatโs just part of who I am. It doesnโt define my work ethic. It doesnโt define who I am as a person. And Iโm strong enough to push past that. And Iโm strong enough to be above that. So biggest thing for females in the industry, definitely, for me is mindset. Because without that, you allow your emotions to run rampage in your mind. Itโs really self sabotaging. So if you can get a really good mental foundation going, and you can just hold strong to that youโre unstoppable. Because you already have the personality you already have the trust you already have. Feel like most women are pretty confident, you know. And if you can just build that up and just hold strong to your emotions. Youโre just unstoppable at that point. You know, I can recognize when Iโm feeling aside, I recognize when Iโm saying that thereโs no reason for me to be upset, itโs just my body, I can recognize that. But I can accept it and know that I can work pasta and I can keep I can work with it. Itโs not how you get over things. Itโs how you live life with it. So thatโs the biggest piece of advice. And anyone who any female whoโs ever considering going into the door to door industry, I highly recommend you take the risk, something Iโve lived by as high risk, high reward 100%, youโll learn your capabilities getting in there. And yeah, you might get smacked around a little bit, I think everyone does, and door to door whether youโre male or female, but then once you you cross that bridge, and once you actually find that success even a little bit, itโs just so empowering. And you really just bloom into the woman that youโre supposed to be and then it and it doesnโt stop, you just hit that glass feeling and you shatter it and you just keep going. So for me, itโs just about just keep keep trucking forward. And donโt let the men stop. You donโt let their egos get in the way. Just trust who you are as a woman and trust that youโre capable, and youโre deserving of it.
Mia OโNeill 21:07
I love that 100% I love that so much. And it is true. just trusting yourself and not letting that fear get in the way. And the center closer program, at least for solar. Thereโs so many industries. But having that setter option is kind of helps with the boundary of getting into the industry. Because you donโt know how you donโt have to know how to close right off the bat. Yeah, like you can just learn the script and hunter be certainly super sweet. And you can get it for sure. I know a lot of my friends have been really nervous to make that jump. I know, they would say because theyโre friendly. And thatโs really only me,
21:41
as long as theyโre personable, you know, like, Yeah, go for it. Itโs so true. Yeah, like, for me, at least, before I got into the dirt or industry, I considered myself like super antisocial, like super socially awkward. I was like, oh, like, people just gave me like so much anxiety. And then I started doing this. And I just started opening up more. And then especially now having like another woman in the industry with me, itโs really cool. Because Yeah, like sometimes, like me, my boyfriend, you know, we live together weโd like work together. He canโt relate to like some things that I go through. So itโs always so comforting knowing that like, Oh, I have Dom here. Like I could text her like whatโs going on? Like, sheโll be like, Girl, like, I feel you like me, too. Iโm feeling like, itโs awesome to just like, see, and not just my growth, but the growth of other people, especially the women in the industry, too, because I have a couple of friends and other companies as well that are females. And they absolutely crush it. Like itโs itโs just amazing to see how much a person can grow specifically in this industry and just push back push, like, limited believes aside and be like, no, this is like, this is my new like, how do you say? I forgot the word and itโs finally live? Yeah.
Mia OโNeill 23:00
Thatโs so cool. So I think something that a lot of people love to know is how would you recommend to recruit women and also how to work with them on your team?
23:11
I think from a recruiting something Iโm still working on so for me itโs itโs about mastering one thing before you jump into the into the other. So Iโm still mastering the idea of sales. But I think when it comes down to women, I think women just want to know that you have their back. Yeah, you know, I think whatโs really big for me is knowing that I have are youโre just with what she said that I have her back as well. And I think it goes for both men and females just having a good mentor. Even if that mentor is a male figure, you know, are my mentors, Devin, and Heโs the owner of source energy, who is who we work for. And heโs someone I know I can go to on a daily basis. And even from a femaleโs perspective, heโs always so open minded to hear me out. And I think thatโs very important. Like I said, from a female or males perspective, itโs good to have that, but specifically Qing to females, I think we just all want to, we all want to feel that woman empowerment. So if I go to you and say, Hey, listen, this is a really beautiful opportunity. I think you have so much potential, Iโll guide you every step of the way. I have your back. Thereโs just a sense of relief in that. And again, thatโs as much as I can offer because Iโm still working on that recruiting aspect.
24:21
Thatโs my next level. But yeah, Iโm like, Okay, yeah, exactly. Yeah, I
24:26
think thatโs what, thatโs what I needed when I first started solar, and I didnโt necessarily have that. And I think thatโs where a lot of my inconsistency came from. But once I had that foundation for me, it was just I was thriving after that because I had someone instilling confidence in me and constantly having my back and it made me believe in myself more. So I think mentorship is a really big thing. So if you can go into an industry, and thereโs already a female whoโs dominating, I highly recommend you you go and you want to work with her because sheโll take you every step of the way because we know his woman Weโre all about empowering other woman. So I think just having a woman already there is its key.
25:06
Yeah. So itโs not a company. If you find another woman in the same like company as you, itโs not a competition inside girl against girl. Itโs like, dude, if thereโs already a female there, and sheโs doing well, like, go for it, like, go knock together, like, get lunch together, like just talk about, like tips and tricks on how you guys are feeling like, communicate and like legitimately, like become friends. Because thatโs like, thatโs why weโre here. Like, weโre here to, like, uplift each other, like, so itโs not a competition, and thereโs already a female in there, like, thatโs a bonus for you like girl killer. And if thereโs not a female there, like me, the first female there, set the pace, and then another female is gonna come, youโre gonna inspire them. And then like, just build a girl squad, you know, like, yeah,
Mia OโNeill 25:47
yeah, absolutely. I love that. Thatโs so cool. And itโs true. I mean, empowered women, empower women. And itโs cool to be one of the only women in door to door space. And it is so magnetic. And just to be that leader, that people can look towards is super powerful. Absolutely. And I want to help other women explore this opportunity, because I know it could change your life. Absolutely. And also, as far as mentorship goes, that is huge. Itโs so important. And a lot of people when I was in college, and after, theyโre always saying, like, get a mentor, get a mentor. And I tried I was in LA I was in different places looking for a mentor. And the truth was, like, some really successful person didnโt want to take me on as a mentee as just free help. However, in door to door, if youโre working with them, and youโre helping them and their team and their overall success, they are so hungry, and excited and willing to help you succeed. They want to take you on as a machine. Yeah, I hear I got you, I will help you get to where I am today. Opposite to where everyone absolutely it is. Itโs honestly a crack in the code. Itโs like a glitch in the system. This is the way so if nothing else, youโre looking for growth and mentorship, that door to door industry. Absolutely.
27:05
And to add to that, thatโs exactly the situation that happened when I came to soar. She was there prior to me. And I knew her from Fluence solar, a different solar company we were working for. And her numbers were were amazing that and then her numbers were a little rocky when I got to source and Iโm like thinking well whatโs going on here. So I automatically snatched her up. And I told Devin, sheโs mine, Iโm taking her you know, Iโm taking off her leaves Iโm weโre gonna work together. And ever since then both of our numbers double Yeah, theyโve laid doubled in a month now even in a couple of weeks. And for me that it just resonates. And I encourage you know, any woman you know, go go find a friend, if youโre considering door to door before you even get started. Find a friend to say, hey, try this opportunity with me. Letโs see what we can do. Because it just having each other just from the jump, and then you both flourish and both accomplish great things. Itโs just itโs super empowering. So I just think the biggest thing for females is having another female by your side. Because it can, it can get really lonely being the only female in the office, especially when youโre doing the best and that some guys maybe arenโt as encouraging as the female whoโs bide your side? Like just really girl? Yeah, exactly. Like weโre all. You know, we love our team, though. Like we love everyone on the team. But weโre each otherโs hype girls, for sure. Like 100% Yeah, we keep that ebb and flow going really well. And thatโs just the most important aspect is having another female buyer side in my opinion. Yeah,
28:38
absolutely. And honestly, like the worst thing that could happen if you just try door door, you not for a week get to meet some cool people make a couple bucks. And you know, just if you donโt like it cool, not for you, at least you made like anywhere from like, 100 to like, like three gram, thereโs, like so many possibilities. Give it a shot. I know what youโre capable of
Mia OโNeill 29:00
until you actually try it. And I would say give it a few weeks. Yeah, there is a learning curve. Give it a few weeks and just try it out. Also, I mean, at least spend you know, and anytime you want to make money, thereโs always an opportunity. So really not big opportunity to have to like go out and spend hours on indeed I mean, unless but that was five minutes. Wow. Yeah, five minutes change my life. Thatโs so cool. Yeah. And like you always have this opportunity where you know, you could come back

Absolutely. Do it anywhere in the country, which is awesome. Like you could be Yeah, this job literally offers you so much freedom like I can move to Florida I can move to Texas, California anywhere I want and I could still do what I do producing as much as I produce still now. So itโs like awesome to have that freedom. You have financial freedom like itโs just itโs an opportunity that allows you so much like thereโs so much abundance and so much prosperity that already comes within it. You just have to like explore and again like I consider myself super timid like before Thereโs like a bit of risk to like, even if you consider yourself to pretend to like, whatever, just go to shot, like, try it out and talk to a couple people. people end up being a lot cooler than you think. Like itโs Yeah, so true. Iโve had people like feed me, because Iโve had people like, let me put their head chalk this one lady, I was freezing. She gave me a scarf. She wrapped around. Like, she got the scarf around me. She gave me a jacket. She gave me gloves, just like I mean, I like. Like, no, itโs like, super fun. Itโs actually a very, yeah, itโs super fun.

I love that. Okay, so final question. I want to ask this, because itโs really common. Every time people talk a lot. I mean, I do too. We all are like, Oh, you can your face kicked in. And like, itโs like so hard this not but I just want to ask you guys like, do you actually think this job is that hard? No, no,
30:55
I think starting off, for sure, because you have to get past that learning curve of learning the presentation. Other people call it the pitch, you call it a presentation. So I think learning that is once you get that down, then now itโs the emotions, whether youโre male or female, getting rejected on a daily consistent basis, because your presentation isnโt as good as enough which should be. Itโs hard, and itโs very demanding, and itโs very emotional. But once you get that down pack, which usually takes a couple of weeks could be a couple months. Once thatโs out of the way. Itโs just easy. Itโs like riding a bike at that point. If you have a good mentor and you have a good team by your side, like I donโt, I donโt wake up thinking have I gotta go not today. Of course thereโs days where Iโm tired. But honestly, if you create a good culture for yourself in a good mindset, I canโt I tell her I textures Texas to same days today. To Sandyโs today. Yeah, so I personally donโt feel like now after everything. Iโve done everything Iโve been through everything Iโve learned. For me, itโs riding a bike now. And itโs almost like a trick or treating for money at this. Retreat trading. trading for money. Yeah, at this point. And weโd if we get nose consistently, day, itโs not that we werenโt a good fit for them, they werenโt a good fit for us. And you have to accept that and know that the next door neighbor will be better, if not the next one everywhere, there are 1000s of homes out there. And you canโt let one no affect your day. If you do, thatโs a mental thing, which is why I said you need to work on that. But once you overcome that, Iโm telling you, my jobโs easy. sells itself. Makes sense. People are saving.

And at the end of the day, honestly, like, itโs not a tough job. Itโs just the law of the harvest. Like basically your the numbers that you produce your producing and whether you go 102 and or five nose 10 nose, whatever, you know, like no mean snacks. No means Max, like Okay, cool. No means nice and nice questions. So yes, yeah, like, itโs, itโs honestly like, yeah, the first couple times, like, thereโs gonna be a learning curve, obviously, as there is with everything. Once you cut it down, unpack all it is, is being genuine. And if youโre genuine, like youโd like, actually want to add value to peopleโs lives, like youโre not here to be like, commission breath. Basically, if you actually adding value to peopleโs lives and you genuine like itโs gonna work out like, as long as youโre have a good attitude work the hours. Yeah, like,
33:28
yeah, everyone has stay positive and work the hours. And so to add on top of that consistency, yeah, she says the same thing every single time. I say the same thing every single time. And every single time we get the same result our jokes. Yeah, it takes the fear out. Yeah. If you know what youโre gonna say every time in the door. You thereโs no, thereโs no controlling if theyโre gonna say yes or no. I mean, obviously, thereโs objection handling, which you learn along the way. But at the end of the day, if theyโre going to do it, theyโre going to do and if theyโre not, theyโre not. But if youโre saying the same thing every single time, and you can overcome those objections, youโre going to get the same results every single time. So what the other day, we knocked for about five hours, and we talked to eight qualified people, and she said, Every single one of them, and thatโs just because the consistency is there. Sheโs done this, she practices she trains. So if you can do that on a consistent daily basis, this job should be like riding a bike. It really isnโt. We just go and we hang out with homeowners as I get paid to just hang out with people and help them save money and help the environment go green. Itโs pretty simple.
