If you thought the American Ninja competition was a test of agility and mental resilience, you haven’t seen anything yet.
I’m thrilled to glimpse you into the D2D Survivor Competition 2022.
This three-day showdown had door-to-door sales reps from various industries battling it out, not on physical courses but in the real world, scoring points through sales, appointments, and referrals.
In an actual test of their grit, the participants were pushed to their limits just as the most challenging obstacle courses do.
The Challenge
The challenge started with 65 attendees looking forward to scoring at least three points in the first round.
Picture this: 65 eager participants kick off the challenge, thinking, “Three points? Piece of cake!”.
Though easy sounding, one point could be earned by making a sale, setting an appointment, or getting a referral.
But oh boy, did things heat up! As the rounds rolled on, things began to heat up, with that point bar constantly rising. By the grand finale?
A whopping 25 points to stay in the game!
But here’s the twist: it wasn’t just about racking up numbers.
The participants had to bring their A-game, stick to the D2D sales playbook, and put into practice all those golden nuggets from the D2D training and coaching programs.
And strictly without any shortcuts!
Every point claimed meant showing off some evidence, be it a pic, a video, or a screenshot of the sales contracts and referrals.
The synergy was unreal and nothing short of magical.
This challenge was about individual hustle, team spirit, and community vibes. With a surreal synergy, all participants cheered each other and shared their secrets and strategies to ache the rounds.
And, of course, they lit up social media to share their journey, wins, and lessons with the #D2DSurvivor tag.

What an exhilarating journey!
The opportunity to make new pals in the D2D Circle was a cherry on the top for participants with newfound confidence and motivation.
Unfortunately, only two 65 sales enthusiasts who took this challenge head-on could emerge as the ultimate survivors. Ryan Avila, our meat and seafood maestro, and Luke Ward, the solar sensation, racked up a jaw-dropping 30+ points in the showdown.
Talk about setting the bar high!
A bit about our victors: Ryan is a veteran in the meat and seafood industry and, with a four-year streak at D2D events, is no stranger to the game. His innovative approach even had me munching on some of his seafood over a phone call – now that’s some sales magic!
Luke, the solar whiz, has been lighting up every D2D contest he’s stepped into. With a whopping 300+ solar system sales this year, he’s the guy to watch out for at the upcoming D2D Con in January, where he is all set to spill beans on what makes him so successful.
They are both incredible sales reps who have been active in the D2D community for a long time.
Their prize? A golden ticket to the D2D Con, some shiny trophies, cool swag, and a moment in the spotlight on the main stage. 🏆
